President Joe Biden just shared with the nation that he’s leaving the country with a major high after Hamas just released the first of many hostages as a part of the ceasefire deal.

Biden offered his remarks on the historic occasion that saw three Israeli hostages return safely back to their country as the deal finally came into play despite a lot of controversy and dilemma.

Biden called it a deal that finally came to fruition and also added that while he spoke, hundreds of trucks carrying assistance for civilians were arriving in Gaza.

He also shared how there was so much pain and tragedy with emotions running high. But finally, the guns in Gaza went silent which was a momentous occasion.

‘Three Israeli women were held against their will inside dark tunnels for 470 days’- Biden shared. Finally, they were given into the custody of the Red Cross during the morning hours of Sunday.

He also shared how there were four more women who would be released in a week and then three more hostages every week after that. Amongst those will also be two American citizens, he confirmed.
